Ok, I know this isn't quite in the spirit of the question, but this just worked for me when chasing a package in a non-standard courier.
I used the pc to find the company's main web site. I got hold of the track number and entered it. When I saw the results, I got into the address field, selected and copied to clipboard, the entire address. Then sent myself an email to my apple me.com account with just the link in and maybe parcel track in the subject. Then, when I want to check, I open said message, click on the link, and it is checked all over again. This should work with any service offering tracking.... though agree it will depend on a certain form or style, very common attributes, but with a minor possibility that they do it different so the details don't occupy the address line tail as parameters.
