For those who purchased the fraction calculator by Palasoftware, keep in mind that Voiceover only announces which keypad you are on (whole numbers, numerator or denominator) if you have hints enabled. Joseph mentioned this feature and it's a very nice little feature, but I usually have hints disabled and did not get this announcement unless I turned hints on. You might also keep in mind that if you want to enter, for example the number two and one quarter, it does not matter if you enter it in order, i.e. 2 (whole number), 1 (numerator) and 4 (denominator). You could enter the 1 first, then the 4 and last the 2. Since this is done on 3 different keypads and each keypad puts the number into a corresponding field, you can enter them any which way you like. This app is indeed quite useful, very accessible and easy to use. It is, however, also limited in that there is no memory feature which can be nice to have when adding lots of fractions.
