Joseph, I would suggest a simple plastic case and some magnetic tape. Or, I just got a fun product off Amazon from IPlush. It is a stuffed Teddy bear. In one of the legs is a speaker that feels much like a spool of thread. It has a 3.5 jack on a short cord to plug into the earphone port of your phone/touch. It also charges via USB and is supposed to have a battery life of 6 hours. There doesn't appear to be an on/off switch, so I am guessing when it is plugged into the phone/touch it is running off battery for amplification. It really sounds quite good. In the back of the stuffed animal is a square formed with a wire sewn into the fur you slip the phone/touch into.
I don't have a direct link, but check for IPlush on Amazon. It was about $10. I think there were two models of bears and different ones for Iphone 4/4S and 5/5S. If I can give anyone anymore information, give me a shout: [email protected] -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Joseph FreeTech Sent: Tuesday, June 03, 2014 10:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: iDevice holder Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows of a type of small discreet holder where I can place my iPod Touch when I'm not carrying it? For example, when I'm in the kitchen busy cooking, cleaning, washing, whatever, I like placing my iDevice away from me so I don't accidentally destroy it. Placing it away from me also makes it easier to listen to audio as the speaker isn't muffled the times it is in my pocket. The problem is that at times I forget where I have placed it. Like I've said, I can simply place the iDevice on a counter, but I've forgotten it was on the counter and luckily nothing serious has happened so far when knocking it off of the counter. I do have to admit that I once carried lots of stuff from one room to another so placed my iPod touch in my back pocket thinking I could not possibly forget it, but as soon as someone engaged me in conversation, I forgot I had the thing in my pocket and I went to sit down. luckily I quickly remembered the device was in my back pocket and quickly got up to check for a cracked screen and alike. <Smile>. I guess I'm asking if anyone here has purchased or knows of a type of case one can stick to the side of a refrigerator or cabinet which can hold and iPhone or iPod touch. I'd also like to stick one of these to my bed frame and alike for equally quick access to my iDevice. I've tried running a search on Amazon.com, but all I've found was those cases used to place GPS devices on car windshields. Would appreciate any ideas the list can provide.
