Hello Todd,

Once again this is a case where Google is your best friend. Using your exact
question "What is Kobo", here are 3 of the search results. Note that I
didn't even go into any of the links, but just the search results alone make
it quite clear as to what Kobo is.

I can't tell you anything more since I haven't used their service and
probably never will since I am firmly hooked on Audio Books and choose not
to read eBooks. I can read braille but rarely use it and find listening to
audio books with a synthetic voice doesn't even come close to what a skilled
reader can do with a book. I know that listening to a book is not an option
for you so Kobo may well be worthwhile checking out for you. Here are these
search results now:

Kobo eReader - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

company's name is an anagram of "book". The original version was released

>After reading this post, I realized I hadn't used kobo for a long
time and definitely not since I got my braille display. I
decided to try it on my ipad and was able to sign in and download
some of my books. But I am having a problem. Both braille and
speech keep jumping around with page 1 of 3 or page 2 of 3 or
page 3 of 3 being announced no matter what screen I'm in. When I
get into a book I just get started reading and suddenly I hear
page 1 of 3 or one of the other page options, seems to cycle
between 1 2 and 3, and so I can't continue reading though I can
see bits and pieces of the book. I do remember there used to be
something complicated that needed to be done to set kobo up to be
accessible and I wonder if this is the problem. I'm sure this
has been discussed and posted before but help would be
appreciated as it has been a very long time since I used it.
