Hi Neal, Can't be done in this version. I read some Skype forums and I believe this is something which Skype is looking to put back in a future update.
Make sure you are signed in the same way on your PC and your iPhone, e.g. make sure you don't sign in with a Microsoft ID on one device and your Skype ID on another. I did at one point merge my Skype Id wit my Microsoft ID but found that it did strange things to my Contacts so I went back to using my Skype ID again.
