True, but this thread is talking about Yahoo! Mail.

It auto goes to pop3 you don't need to enter any of that info. If you
choose iMap you will have to enter port stuff manually. I am sure if you
google how to set up outlook 2010 with iMap using whatever your mail
provider is there should be an article.

Thank you Jonathan. Can you tell me how to switch? When I sat up the
account, it didn't ask for the pop 3 information. I just had to put in my
name, e-mail address and password and it was done. Thank you.

Hi Connie, Yahoo supports Imap, so if you're currently using pop3, switch
to Imap on all your devices and this will make deletions much easier to
handle across all your devices.

Hello everyone,
In outlook 2010 on my computer I checked the box saying delete mail from
server. I was hoping that by doing that, I wouldn't have to delete the
same messages from my computer, my iPod, and my iPhone. I went into
settings on my iPhone and found mail. So I clicked on it but didn't see
anything in yahoo mail that would say something like delete every 15
minutes. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
