first for Alan it doesn't provide as good information as some of the other apps. Since I live in Columbus Wx alert definitely works in Ohio. It also provides alerts when the phone is off. For those who want information on multiple cities it does that as well. I found it on AppleVis. Just my opinion but it doesn't make sense to pay $10 for an app when so many free or less expensive ones exist.
