Hi,
This should be a straightforward thing. How do I adjust the Speech Rate
of VoiceOver? If I do it in Settings | General | Accessibility |
Voiceover, by double-tapping on Speaking Rate, Adjustable, and then
"swipe up or down with one finger to adjust the value", all that happens
then is that I run into the other VoiceOver settings for Sound Effects,
Braille, this and that, but I can only slightly adjust the speech rate.
(At the moment I am hovering at about 51%. I'd like to adjust that
downward eventually to maybe about 11%.) Am using iOS7.1.2 or the latest
iOS update on iPhone 5S. I mostly use braille, but needed to see if I
could help a situation where braille reading/scrolling was a bit too
slow in a particular newspaper app.)
TIA for assistance.
