It's interesting at best, but as the article points out, this is simply a patent which was filed 3 years ago and as far as I am concerned it means nothing for what eventually will come to market. Companies file all sorts of patents which never turn into any products. Will Apple come out with some sort of wearable? I think most definitely so, but what it will be in the end will not be described in any detail in a 3-year old patent filing.
