Hi, I am just trying to ascertain what the difficulty is: for example, have you ever had success with TextGrabber in the past or with any other OCR app? Because there maybe two angles from which we should approach this problem, to wit, how are you at holding the phone, distance, angle etc. Or whether it is a software problem which might be alleviated by some of the suggestions I made in my post just now to Donna. In other words, is this user error or not? For a long time many people had problems with these apps until they discovered the efficacy of using a stand. Some do very well Freehand, but even those who do get the best results when using a stand. Some had no success at all until they used a stand. If there is someone with good site who can test the app out for you, this might be useful because we need to know if it is the app or you that is having the difficulty.
Please forgive me if it seems that I am assuming you are inexperienced with OCR apps and the phone. You may be an expert, in which case the problem will be a software one and we can look at it more closely.
