I've used TaxiMagic before, but at least in my area of Austin, Texas, the local affiliated cab company discriminated against me since I had a guide dog at the time. When I called to find out where my ride was, they told me, "We're looking for a driver that is okay with dogs," this after I had made the reservation around 15 hours before the appointment. I didn't file charges with them, but have made a point of not using the local company. Still love the app and if another more wide spread cab company like Yellow Cab worked with TaxiMagic, I might be more inclined to use the app. The app worked well though in my limited use.
