Part of the problem, as I see it, is the language parsing. Fantastical can 
break up full sentences into appointment names, locations, times, repeat 
intervals, and so on. Localization is just the translating of strings, so that 
the string used to display information is in the right language. However, 
figuring out the information from what the user types is an entirely different 
story, as it requires a deep understanding of the language in question. Of 
course it is possible, but if the makers of Fantastical are English speakers, I 
can see why translation for them would be much harder than the more basic 
translation that most other apps go through. They aren't just localizing, they 
have to make their app *understnad* what the user is typing in as well.
