You are getting BMI confused with body fat percentage. Body fat percentage is 
calculated using the electrical charge sent through your body and measuring 
resistance. This is the number you want to pay attention to.

BMI, on the other hand, is an almost completely useless number. It was created 
because health workers can look at a chart and see where you are on the chart 
compared with the "average". BMI does not take into account bone density, body 
fat compared with muscle, and so forth. Muscle weighs more than fat, so just 
being focused on weight can be unhealthy. And yes, any change in the weight, 
even by a few numbers to the right of the decimal point, will change the BMI 
number.

Finally, Always weigh yourself under the same conditions. My conditions are in 
the morning, after I get up and use the toilet, before I get into the shower, 
and before I drink anything. All of these factors will change your weight.
