Hi all,
I'm still using my iPod Touch 4 while my phone is being repaired. It's working
fine, except the battery gauge is way out of whack. It gives me a 20% battery
warning a few hours after I take it off the charger, but a minute later the
battery shows at almost 40%. This cycle, of low battery warnings and then
higher battery readings, continues for hours until I get sick of it and plug
the iPod in, or it shuts down. Even shutting down, though, isn't enough,
because I can power it back up and it will run for several minutes, starting at
about 45% battery and quickly dropping, before it shuts down again. I've so far
booted it back up twice in a row after it thinks it needs to shut down, and
I'll bet I can keep doing it for a while. So, how do I calibrate my gauge so
it's accurate again, or is that even possible? Thanks for any help!
