Hi John,

I just had a look and actually didn't see Shuffle anywhere, either. I'll
bring this to Sonos's attention.

Yes, you can go to Advanced wireless setup and connect your Sonos directly
to your WiFi. However, if you have a Bridge there really isn't that much
reason to do so. I have one of my Connects wired into my router and I don't
plan to set it up wirelessly. Anyhow, here is an article about how to do it
if you want to try:

With Sonos version 5.1, you can now connect Sonos to your wireless network
directly, without using any Ethernet cables.

Are there any settings I need to be aware of?
Sonos communicates over a 2.4GHz home network supporting 802.11b/g wireless
technology.
5GHz and 802.11n-only networks are not supported in a completely wireless
Sonos setup (both 802.11b / 802.11g networks are supported).
Standard wireless setup supports only home network routers configured to use
open (no security) or WEP/WPA/WPA2.

Standard wireless setup is not supported on:
. Guest networks/Hotspots that use a portal page to login.
. Enterprise access points configured to require certificates or some other
form of enterprise authentication (aka "802.1X", "RADIUS", or "WPA/WPA2
Enterprise").
. Networks with wireless range extenders.

How do I connect my Sonos player to my wireless router without an Ethernet
cable?

Sonos Desktop Controller App for Mac or PC
1. Select Sonos -> Manage -> Settings
2. Select Wireless Setup from the General tab in the Advanced menu.
3. When prompted, select your Wi-Fi network, enter your password, and click
Next.
4. Once you have successfully connected to your wireless network, a
confirmation message will be displayed.

Sonos Controller App for iOS and Android
1. Touch the music menu and touch Settings.
2. From Settings, select Advanced Settings and touch Wireless Setup.
3. Select your wireless network from the dropdown list and touch OK.
4. Enter your wireless network password and touch Next to connect.
5. Once you have successfully connected to your wireless network, a
confirmation message will be displayed.

If you're unable to connect wirelessly, you may have more success using the
wired setup configuration.

For those of you who use the Sonos App is their a way to turn on the shuffle
feature from within the app? Also, they are saying that we don't need a
bridge anymore has any one tried taking off the bridge?
