On the evening of the ios 8 release here in the UK, when I connected my iPad Air to my PC running tge latest itunes, itunes kept insisting that ios 7.1.2 was the current version when I asked it to check for updates but when I unplugged and checked on the iPad over the air, ios 8 was there to download. Is there a lag in the update becoming available via iTunes? Harry
