One technique that might help you is to put the phone flat on the page you want
to scan with the back facing camera in the center of the page.
Then grasp the phone with your thumbs and little fingers on the four corners of
the phone and raise the phone up trying to keep it flat and the camera still
centered on the page. For a 8.5 by 11 inch page, you want to raise the phone
about 12 inches above the page.
Then, the field of view report should tell you that all four corners of the
page are in view.
Then take the picture.
With practice, you will be able to estimate the distance above the page and
getting the camera centered over the page.
This is how I got good scans with Prizmo before getting the standscan pro and
then the Giraffe Reader.
I still have not purchased KNFB Reader, but with all the rave reviews, I may
decide it is worth it.
HTH,
Richard
