Hi Alan,

The 6 Plus compared to the 5S is bigger and heavier as follows:

Height/length: 1.35 inches longer

Width: 3/4 inches wider

Depth/thickness: half a millimeter thinner, that's less than 0.02 inches,
think of it as about the thickness of an average fingernail.

Weight: 2.1 ounces heavier, as a percentage the 6 Plus is just shy of half
again as heavy as the 5S.

Regards,

Sieghard

How does the 6 plus compare in size with the 5s?

I went to the local apple store and have a play at both the 6 and 6+.

If you put them side by side, the 6 and 6+, 6 feels like an expensive toy
beside the 6+. it makes 5C looks like a plustic model phone, and 5 and 5s,
something in between.

As far as the feel and touch goes, the 6+ is actually very nice to hold on
the hand. I was comparing hat with some other 5.5" phones that i have at the
same time, my right hand was holding the 6+ and my left hand was holding a
Lenovo A850+ 5.5" phones. the lenovo is twice as thic and as heavy as the
6+.

Even though the 6+ seems big, and somewhat harder to hold to start with, but
when you get on to it, it is very comfortable on the hand. no pressure or
grip require. Same with the 6 as well. To put it in more of a context for
those that haven't seen it before, the 6 is a bit feels like the last gen
iPod touch.

It is a touch big for my hand, but i can hold and type quite comfortably one
handed on the 6+. I don't consider myself have a big hand, but i do have
long musician fingers.

Beside the size, for $100 extra, you pretty much get a crispier screen for
those that is low vision, definitely better camera, and better battery life.
Although, at this stage, there is no prove on how much longer the battory
life for 6+ will be compare to 6.

Hi all, my brother read me some reviews stick today about the six and 6+
phones. There is really no difference except the screen size. The only
reason that I might get the 6+ is because if you could use embryo like the
like you can on the iPad which allows it to be used like a braille writer
because the screen is bigger, I might consider the 6+ for that. It would be
a great advantage. The 6+ is about 2 ounces heavieralso, as far as the
Battery Life there is really no difference because the bigger battery uses a
power more quickly because it has to power a bigger screen. The
stabilization in the six is auto I should say automatic, and in the 6+ it is
in the software which does not make it as good as the sixth. The processors
and all of the other specs are the same in both phones. For each size the
phone the iPhone 6+ is $100 more. I am not knocking any phone. Just trying
to share some information for you. God bless, Wren Langley

Actually, all the reviews I have read about the iPhone 6 agree with you.
Most people say it is just about the most comfortable phone to hold in your
hand. I really didn't play with it that long but it certainly didn't seem
too big.

I'd like to toss this out there. I also thought the 5/5S screen size was
fine, and it definitely is. However, I used my mother's new 6 for about half
an hour today, and a funny thing happened. The phone was overall more
comfortable for me to hold and use (though that is subjective and likely
based mostly on hand size). Then, I started to realize just how much I liked
the larger screen, and I still don't know why. Sure, more stuff fits on it,
but I even prefer it for gestures. The four-finger taps were way easier, and
I just got an overall feeling that it was smoother and more comfortable than
the 5. It was really a weird feeling, to be honest, but there it is. I'm
still hoping to keep my 5 until the next model comes out, but I no longer
worry that the larger screen will be an annoyance until I get used to it.
Now, I look forward to upgrading and having all that extra room.

Although I haven't seen the new phones, the size of the 5 is good for me. I
don't really want a bigger phone. But when I get the money saved up, I'll
go to the 6 plus for the longer battery life, and I'll have to get at least
a 64 gig model, although 128 would be better.

Hi all,
I went to my local AT&T store and checked out the new phones they are thin
and sleep, but the camera lens juts out of the case just enough to make it
wobble when I sat it down on a flat surface. This may be a problem for
those, like me, who occasionally put their phone under a CCTV to read the
screen.
The bigger screen may help those with vision, but as a voice over user, I
would actually like a smaller phone... But I am sure I am in the minority.
They only had the iPhone 6 available in the 128 gig, so I didn't buy one.
I am sure I will eventually upgrade to the 6, for the faster processor and a
few of the new gadgets, but as for now, its not a big deal for me. U
