Listers, I was using my retina iPad mini using my ear-phones when all of sudden I lost sound. At first I thought my iPad had frozen. But when I unplugged the ear-phones, I could again hear Voiceover. I tried another pair of ear-phones and the same thing happened. When I twiddle the jack in the ear-phone jacket, I can hear tiny crackling and a semblance of sound for a mini-second. Do you think that my iPad has developed a fault with the ear-phone socket?
