Once again, home kit is not an app and never will be. It's like Health Kit and other developer kits/tools which allow developers to make apps which comply with whatever standard Apple sets. Yes, there is a "Health" app, but it's not Health Kit since health kit just as home kit is just that resource/tool for developers so they can make apps which work with new hardware devices such as WiFi connected thermostats, door locks, lights, appliances and so on. I'm sure we'll start seeing more and more of these throughout 2015.
