You don't want to be an alarmist, but that's exactly what your message makes 
you out to be.  No details given, and forwarding an apparent news blurb.

If this is true, though, to all those who have iPhones and do not see the need 
for a case, now, do you see a potential need??  Better be safe than sorry.  
After all, thin aluminum is not rigid.  A good sturdy case, on the other hand, 
is.  A dollar in prevention is worth not having to replace an expensive phone.
