Hi all, I'm still using my iPhone 5 and still running ios 7.12. I will not update to ios 8 do to all the major bugs in ios 8. I will wait until the bugs in ios 8 are fixed and the next update will come out. Hopefully by then all the major bugs in ios 8 won't be in ios 8.1.
