I was the one who posted instructions about how to downgrade on Sunday. I can say for sure it was still working on Sunday, but I don't know if it still works now since at some point Apple stops signing the firmware file for iOS 7.1.2 and once that happens downgrading is no longer possible. Anyhow, as for the archives, there is a link to the mail archive at the bottom of every single post. Just go to that link, there is an edit field on that webpage where you can type in a search term and then you can review the results by using the headings quick nav key of your screenreader. If you simply search for :"7.1.2" and review the results you will find it, just look for my post from Sunday, September 21. The complete subject is something like :"It's still possible to downgrade to iOS 7.1.2 as of today (Sunday, September 21)" I don't keep most of the messages I post otherwise I would just repost it, but I've had a long day and it's almost midnight so it's up to you to find it since I would have to do the exact same thing, i.e. go to the archives, find it and then post the link. I did, by the way, do that I think yesterday when somebody else asked about downgrading, but now it's on you to find it or maybe somebody else will look it up for you and repost it. I wasn't able to see half of my email because I have been having trouble with my computer so half of my emails had to be zapped. I just now got it working again. Could someone send me, off list a refresher on how to downgrade if possible?. I'd appreciate that, but if not could someone tell me how I could search the archives, and could you tell me what to search for by chance?.
