There is a bug in IOS 8 where sometimes an app is granted access to the photos area.
Even though I am waiting to upgrade to IOS 8, with my 5S and 7.1.2 I've had issues where Looktel Money Reader will come up but not see anything. It is totally unresponsive. I've tried re-installing the app with no improvement. I have used Eye Note successfully.
