Hi No, I haven't tried to block it, as I thought that might just do exactly that, block them, should they ever want to reply. I will try, also the computer might be a solution, although I haven't used skype on the computer for a good while now. Thanks all the same for all the help.

But, I should have explained the situation a bit better with a particular contact. I've sent a contact request to someone to join me on skype, and the person did not respond. Now, if I want to remove that particular contact, all I find in the "more" menu, is block, resend the request, or cancel. Now for the question: how do I remove this particular contact? There seems to be no delete button here, and no matter what I do, I can not seem to remove this contact. Any other contact where I have had contact with the person can be removed, but not a contact where there was no communication as yet. What am I missing this time round? Anyhow, here is what you do: 1. Find the contact you want to remove in your contact list and double tap on it. 2. When the contact opens, double tap on the contacts name again at the top which will show you their profile 3. Now at the bottom underneath the profile are 2 buttons, Add to Favorites and More.
