And also remember that Fleksy, Inc. named the app Fleksy Keyboard to distinguish it from the Fleksy VO app when both were available. If they don't plan to bring back Fleksy VO, I suspect they'll return to just the Fleksy name for the app.
The effort to make this a third-party keyboard app has obvious difficulties as Apple opens this avenue to developers. As you might recall, Fleksy also had a false start with its first update after iOS 7 was released and they were moving toward the third-party keyboard alternative. Their first upgrade after iOS 7 came out also did not work and I'm sure both Apple and Fleksy have their opinions on why this was. They ultimately re-released their original Fleksy as Fleksy VO for those who wanted that capability and I hope they will do that again. I believe there is a place for the Fleksy VO functionality particularly if it can exist and not require update efforts on the part of the developer. We'll just have to wait and see if they get the app working again with iOS 8 which I assume will happen shortly if their history with iOS 7 repeats itself.
