I have recently noticed that at times my battery degrades a lot faster than usual. Since I don't need to see the screen, I always turn my brightness setting to 0, and this makes quite a difference to battery life. Since updating to iOS8.0.2 I have noticed that the brightness setting frequently changes of its own accord. If you periodically check your screen brightness setting, found in the Control Centre, does it change of its own accord? I am intending to write to Apple about this issue, but wanted to confirm if it is a common bug or one that only effects a couple of people.
