I would assume, however, that 2 GPS apps running simultaneously eat up the battery even faster than one does. Also, while Blindsquare is an awesome app, it still does not tell you if an intersection is a 3-way, 4-way etc. intersection. I don’t currently subscribe to the Seeing Eye app because I don’t often need more than what Blindsquare gives me, but sometimes having a better description of an intersection is very handy especially if it’s a 3-way and the cross street is opposite to the side where you walk. In that case you may wonder where the intersection is because you never know the street is only across from where you are. This new GPS product from The Sendero Group is nothing other than a license for The Seeing Eye app. It will be a good deal after you've been using it for 6 years if you figure that the approximate cost of resubscribing to use the Seeing Eye app for the third 2-year period. We don't know what GPS apps will be available, and at what cost, 6 years down the road. This is why I don't think this new app will sell. I, for one, don't have that kind of money to spend on an app that I could pay for in 3 payments by using the 2-year subscription method, especially if there are no features available in this app than in the one I've subscribed to. --- Be positive!
