Hello. I have a 4S, and when I double tap with two fingers anywhere on the screen when the phone is away from my ear, it will end the call. Too lazy to find the end call button, LOL! Also remember that this only works when the phone is up to your ear. I can confirm that on my 6+ this doesn't work; I cannot hang up by pressing the power button. This isn't an iOS8 issue; it appears to be something to do with the difference in the phones. .
