What indicates that there won't be any VoiceOver fixes? I listened to the
presentation, and it was mentioned that there were several bug reports made,
and that there are improvements. While it is true that VoiceOver was not
specifically mentioned, neither was anything else. I think my tag line is
appropriate for your your attitude on this. Why take the defeatist attitude
with nothing to go on? Why assume the worst?

Well, I know I sound like a wet blanket, but 8.1 is pushing some new
features, so it will surprise me if much extensive work has been done with
Voiceover. I certainly hope for it, though.

When I was in an emergency room with someone last week, I could not make
phone calls. I will be staying, temporarily, in that same hospital. If they
do have WiFi, I hope they don't dollar me to death, the way they do with
everything else. They don't mess with change, just bills, bills, and more
bills. They send you theirs, and take all of yours. (grin)

Hello, there should be no worry, most hospitals have Wi-Fi. So you will
be able to do the update if you have your phone.
