Hi there. Eventually you will get a notification on your screen that says that
there is a new upgrade for your phone. The settings app will show a badge icon
number of one. This means there is one item for you to review. Typically this
is an upgrade. From that point on you compress in general and then in software
update. When you go to software upgrade you will see that there is an upgrade
and it will either show that the upgrade has been downloaded or that it is
simply available. Usually the download if you have room in your device will
take place when your device is locked, connected to Wi-Fi, and connected to
power while charging. I believe this is similar to when iCloud backups are
performed. The one thing that you cannot do is accidentally upgrade. This means
that you would actually have to go into the software upgrade section and choose
to install or download the upgrade. Then you would need to agree to the license
terms. Then you would need to confirm that you are agreeing by double tapping
agree a second time. Like I said, definitely no upgrading by accident.
