I'm having problems there, too. Entered a search string and tried to clear
it. Wouldn't clear. Tried several more times to clear it with the same
results.

Perhaps people have already noticed this but the appstore search not
clearing is still present and, and i did not think i had this problem
before, it is now also present with ibooks as well.
Also choice of games adventure game sseem to be wholly not playable with
ios8 while they worked fine under 7.
I can play them on the web but always liked it very much to do it on ios.
I am not sure what bug is causing htis.
