Perhaps there is a dollar limit concerning the least amount that you can
charge. I understand that the vendor has to pay 3 or 5 percent for each
charge, so I can understand why charging such inexpensive purchases would
not be allowed.

If you want to remove the card, go to the passbook app. In that app select
the card that you want to remove then flip them till you hear more
information. Then continue flicking until you're here remove card.
Were you trying to buy the $.89 item at the same place you just used Apple
pay? There may be a limit on how often you can use Apple pay in the same
spot. I know there is with the wallet app.

Thanks Sieghard, I did not realize that multiple fingers would make a
difference. Looks like I can delete the extra fingers I have and
totally rely on my left thumb. That would also explain why the right
index finger has been half successful for me.

I've had issues having all of my fingers recognized as well. My left
thumb
works the most often and reliably, which is probably the one I will use
to
authorize the Apple Pay transactions. I think the point of using your
fingerprint is not having to enter your password, but I haven't tried
Apple
Pay yet so havent' been in the situation of it not working.

I can't answer your question if the fingerprint scanners fails,
because it is never failed me.
But when you use Apple pay you hold your finger on the fingerprint
scanner and come close to the target, you get a slight vibration and
a tone on the phone which tells you that you have paid. You can then
go into the passbook app and see a short synopsis of the transaction.
