I have a few observations about the new iPad Air. 1. As I mentioned in another post, there is no longer a mute/rotation lock button. The controls are in control center for both.
2. It appears to me that the sound is markedly better and definitely louder than previous iPads. I can turn a football game on full volume in my back bedroom and still hear it in the living room, though not of course loudly enough that I would really leave it back there while listening in the living room. I can treadmill with the iPad on a table nearby and listen to a Kindle book or Audible book just with the built-in speakers and hear it while treadmilling. This is especially true if I stand the iPad up in portrait position. 3. I didn’t think I would notice the difference in thickness, but it is very obvious. I don’t see how they can get it any thinner than it now is but who knows! -- Cheryl I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf. I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper thrown in the trash! Then God gave me a new heart and life: His joy for my despairing tears! And now, every day: "This I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
