This problem with Money Reader has come up a few times since iOS 8 was released just as there seems to be a similar problem some people have with Light Detector. I know Light Detector released an update not that long ago which is supposed to have fixed the problem, but Money Reader hasn't been updated since December 19, 2013. The issue seems to be isolated because just as with Light Detector the app seems to work just fine for most people and only a few users experience the problem. I would reach out to LookTel and check if they are aware of an issue and are working on an update. Maybe Cara will read this and know more since she knows the LookTel developers fairly well I think.
