I am going to be checking out the iPad, not sure if it is for me, but had a couple of questions that I doubt I will be able to know from being in the store. I have only had the first generation iPad and I hated it as I felt it was to bulky and since I have no usable vision the screen being the size it was did nothing for me. I am going to check out the newest iPads as well as the iPad mini from last year as if the mini is for me paying for touch ID does not really do much for me. The most important things to me being a 3GS, 4S, and now 5S user is sound on the iPad. does anyone know how the quality of sound and how loud it goes compares on the mini and new iPad 2? I have plenty of bluetooth speakers but also want great sound from the iPad and am not sure if there are better sound chips in this year’s model, or speakers built in internally.
Also does anyone know if the mini has better battery life than the iPad 2 that just came out? My main concern is I never lock the screen on my iPhone so I have to charge it multiple times a day. I probably would lock the screen on the iPad, so this might not matter, as I recall the battery life on my first gen iPad was fantastic.
