I am on a political list where someone fell for the microsoft scam, went to the site, and gave them control of their computer, not only that, they were paying a monthly fee, and when we pointed out what was going on they refused to believe us, and claimed it was legit, but that they couldn’t change anything on the computer until they contacted “microsoft” who had control of their computer and were the only ones who could change things. Unreal.
