Instead of doing a global search in the app, I do the following. I go to the 
"more" tab and find my name near the top of the screen and double-tap it. The 
resulting area shows my posts. Just above my list of posts is a buttn that says 
"friends". When I double-tap that, the promps says "search your friends". This 
seems to only pull up your friends.
