I have had a couple of instances where the app on my phone has not detected
the receiver. If I go into the app switcher and close the app, I can
usually reopen it with no problem.

Speaking of the direct TV app, when the receiver can be detected which is
more often than not it is not detected, but when it is the app is very
accessible you can go through your playlist and everything.

Is DirecTV app accessible still and what I mean is accessible enough I
don't have to work at it just to get something to come up so I can
record. For instance, I have a slingbox app for a different TV
subscription where i have to use Slingbox, and I absolutely hate it
because there seems to be no easy way to move around. I am looking for
a TV app that can actualy work, please.
