The main thing about Audio Defense is that it uses actual movement. Instead of swiping in one of five directions, you physically turn yourself, and the game world moves around you. So, if a zombie is on your left, you turn to your left. The game lets you use the screen or only tilting to aim, but full movement offers a really great, immersive experience. As to weapons, you get some to start with. However, you need to shoot special items as the game progresses in order to gain points to buy more. At least, that's how I understand it.
