Hi, here is what I did using sonos on the ios device.

Note I am using the beta 5.2.x

>From sonos main menu double click sonos
Double Click settings
Dluble Click on manage music library
Double Click on Music library setup
Double Click on more options
Double Click on add new share
Path edit You would enter something like
\\yournas\sharename/path/folder
Some examples
\\nas\jim/media
\\nas\media/music
This presumes your nas has an assigned ip, you need the ip try
\\192.168.1.123\media/music

Next enter the user name and password
Double Click next

Hope this helps

Subject: How do i make Sonos see i have a nas with music on it?

Hi, as you know by now, i am a bear with a very, very small brain so that’s why
i can’t get my thick head around how to make Sonos play from my Nas where i
will have all of my music and mp3 books stored as well as my Itunes library. My
nas is a Netgear Readynas Ultra ii and i want to be able to play music from it
even if my computer isn’t on. Is this at all possible or should i forget the
idea alltogether?
/Krister
