Do you mean wifi? I know GPS accuracy is improved when wifi is enabled and your phone can look for near by hot spots. I've never heard this about bluetooth though, and I'd be surprised if it were the case given how bluetooth works. BTW, I agree you'll get better results with wifi enabled, but you should still get good results without it.

Make sure that you have blue tooth turned on when using these GPS apps. You
will not get good results with blue tooth off. This is true using Apple Maps
and Google Map and I assume that is the case with these other GPS apps as well.

Any responsible person will tell you that these systems are adjunctive at best,
and are no substitute for good mobility skills.

Yes, I keep trying it, 200yards and past two other junctions and it still
thought I was at the previous one. It mentioned relative house numbers a few
times, and still missed I'd taken a turn, good job I was on familiar territory!
This wasn't even that built up an area. It missed announcing another
junction, which I took anyway; then declaired a house number that doesn't exist
as a close tends to be too short for 3 digit numbers.
I never fail to be amazed at the difference between those that rate it and rave
about it, and my direct experience which usually leads me to abandon it again
as next to useless.

It's your choice, there's still no real substitute for a real sense of
direction and awareness.

BlindSquare for sure. You have the ability to be to add a place (landmark)
very very great application. The best application that you can get for $30.

so I can then select mailbox and it would help me get there?
