Hi, How timely your message is for me, Smile! I ordered from the amazon app Sunday a week ago because my back was against the wall and I needed something immediately and I needed it to be here by Monday. So I tried it even though I am Mister Over-cautious when it comes to security. I even asked someone I trust who does a lot of shopping online what she thought about the safety of the transaction as it worried me after I completed it, laughs! So far everything has been ok but perhaps I will jinx my bank account by saying that, knock on wood, smile!
Having said all that, I can tell you that the amazon app did ask me to use my finger for verification before it would complete the transaction. And I keep one click ordering off as a general rule on my Amazon account. Perhaps amazon was having problems with their site security yesterday. Yesterday was something like world internet security day so maybe Hackers were prowling the bigger shopping sites or maybe with today being Cyber Monday their site was just overwhelmed. Soon I will need to go back to Amazon as we buy many of our needed weekly staples through Pantry as well as our cleaning and other supplies which never leaves money for anything fun, sad face! But next time I go back I will see if it is still as secure asking for my finger print and all that. I did enjoy using my 5S but I still don't trust the phone for buying online.
