The more we write developers about any app, the more likely we are to get the desired results. Sorry to dust off a trite saying but the squeaky wheel really does get the grease.
I keep writing the Fleksy developers asking them to keep Fleksy VO as a viable app going forward. I personally have mastered using Fleksy successfully as it was originally designed and then ported to Fleksy VO when they came out with Fleksy Keyboard. I don't mind having to copy and paste what I produce in Fleksy provided it works as it originally did. The extra step to copy and paste is a minor inconvenience when compared to how much time I save successfully typing quickly using Fleksy VO. I have no idea how much developer time is needed to maintain an app for future iOS releases but I would think if they simply left the feature set alone and made sure it continued to work, not much effort would be needed. At any rate, asking them to keep Fleksy VO only takes a minute of my time. I keep telling the developers what the problems are for me in their latest updates and they are still working to fix problems for low vision and blind users both on iOS and android. The more of us who show we are still interested, the more incentive they will have to make it usable for us, I reckon.
