I have two problems with Fleksy. First, they discontinued Fleksy VO, so new
users or those who lack a backup can't get the app. This would be fine if the
primary Fleksy worked, but that's problem number 2: it doesn't. I tried it
yesterday, with the latest updates to both it and iOS. I couldn't select word
suggestions, I couldn't use punctuation, and at that point I gave up. They've
had months to get this working, and they haven't. It's all about themes and new
languages now, and while I realize they need to make money, is it so much to
ask to bring back the VoiceOver support we know they can do, as they've done it
in the past? It's not like this is all new and we're asking for use of an app
that has never been accessible. It used to be, they broke things, and we just
want the level of accessibility we used to have. They continue to not do this,
though, and I'm just done waiting and asking. If it's interest they want to
see, well, I'm no longer interested. Between direct touch typing and braille
screen input, I don't need Fleksy anymore and I'm done hoping they'll actually
put back the accessibility they themselves removed for reasons they won't share.
