Hello All, I am using the KNFB Reader app to scan a manual I just got today after the installation of my new dishwasher. However, I find it a bit odd or strange in getting KNFB Reader to OCR the text after the picture is taken. Here are the steps I take:
1: I approximate the center of the page with the iPhone's camera. 2. I use the "field of view report" to make sure that all 4 corners are visible and the orientation is correct. 3. I tap on the "take picture" button. The camera of the KNFB Reader does flash because I can see the light from the flash go off. 4. After step 3, the app does not open the next page for reading the OCR text from what had just been scanned. I have closed out all apps in the app chooser including the KNFB Reader app. When I reopen it, I receive the same behavior with no text read after the picture has been taken. Do I need to perform a hard reset in order to get the app to function properly? Please advise as I would like to scan this with the KNFB Reader app. Thanks in advance.
