Hi Andrew and Larry,

Andrew, if you are in the iTunes Store pressing the shortcut keys like
Control+1 for Music, Control+2 for Movies and so on will simply switch the
iTunes webpage to the appropriate category, e.g. you’ll see Music, Movies, TV
Shows etc. Unless iTunes works differently for you, the shortcuts will not take
you backl to your library section when you are in the iTunes Store section.

Now, Larry, here is what I do and I guess I should mention that I am using a PC
and not a Mac:

When I am in the iTunes Store and I want to go back to my library, I usually do
press Control+1 to show the music area simply because the category also
determines where in your library you end up, e.g. if you selected TV Shows,
then you have to look for a different radio button than if you selected music.

First I use F6 which will take me from the web page to the search field and if
I press it again it takes me to my account balance. If you start from the web
page, you can tab from there, if I use F6 twice to go to my balance (not sure
what it shows if you don’t have one), I can use Shift+Tab.

In any case, whether you tab or Shift Tab, keep going until you find a radio
button called “My Music”, this is once again assuming that you have selected
Music with the Control+1 shortcut. If you check the other radio buttons, you’ll
find that there is one for Playlists and another for iTunes Store which will be
checked because that is where you are. If you check the “My Music” radio
button, then you will be taken out of the iTunes Store and back to your
library, in this case, you will be in your Music Library.

Regards,

Sieghard

Hi,

When in itunes store and to get back to the main itunes window, press one of
the shortcut keys for various categories. The obvious one is command+1 which
will take you back to your music library.

Hello. While in Itunes, I wish to go to the store to make a purchase. I do so
by pressing shift-control-h and this places me in the store. I find and make
my purchase and then can’t get back to my library in any other way but to close
and then reopen itunes. Can someone suggest what I’m doing wrong? Thanks.]
