Yesterday I turned off all auto resume including the cellular auto resume that I found in the TuneIn settings - I'm not sure what the latter setting refers to. That solved the issue. I have been using the dictation feature since I got the phone and it requires a 2 finger double tap to stop dictation. This never caused TuneIn to auto resume before, not until yesterday. Hi, By default, two-finger double tap on your iPhone screen plays your last music/audio/stream, whatever that was, regardless of whether the program that made it is in the App Switcher or not. There is a way to turn this off completely, somewhere in settings; but I change it (so far) only on an as-needs basis.
