Hello folks, it's lmr, bringing to you the latest change to the framework conventions (I bet you guys love me by now with all these changes). Once again, we honestly believe it's a change for better, and does not exactly requires a ton of work.

Long story short, for foo.py, we won't need to call the main function run_foo(), it'll be simply run(), for all tests. This is simpler and more convenient [1], not to mention it is a change that can be safely automated.

The PR is here:

https://github.com/autotest/virt-test/pull/1196

I know there is probably a bunch of people won't read this in time, but I can't see how to ensure everybody is aware of the upcoming change. I can try to postpone it for a week or two, but it is not always clear if there is an appropriate amount of time that will be helpful, given that every day someone is writing a new test.

So let's say we wait a couple of weeks, is that good or am I way off?

Let me know your comments.

Lucas

[1] I can be the one to blame for the (not so great) idea of using run_[test name]() convention. Well, at some points you have to recognize the idea was not the best, fix it and move on... :)
