Any of those boards will work fine with VirtualGL, but if you ever plan to serve 10 concurrent sessions, my gut says go for the big cahuna. Depending on how heavy hitting the applications are, you may even want to consider the 5800 or two 3800's. Specifying systems for VirtualGL based on real application load is a complex process that depends heavily on the specifics of your environment. It is something I can gladly do as a consultant, but there's no general rule of thumb for it.
